| Great introductory book which still has a lot of potential by Fabio Tonti on 2008-03-18 16:19:38, review #505 |

Additionally, I have to add that it can't hurt to posess another undergraduate Linear Algebra textbook to compare the style of the proofs and the structure of the book (Prof. Beezer starts with systems of linear equations right away, which seems quite natural, but I've also seen the whole topic constructed by just starting from vector spaces or even determinants). Jim Hefferon's book would be another free and open possibility, and although I don't intend to make a comparison, it seems less comprehensive and expandable to me (I must admit that I have not ready extensively).
